Life Imitates Art
But at least this time, despite the absurdity, life chose some of the best art as its standard. Certain Lincoln middle schools will be switching its grading methods to better represent the rigorous standards of public education:
Study habits — including homework — and student behavior will be graded separately, with a C (commendable), S (satisfactory) or N (needs improvment).LPS is clearly taking a page from the curriculum of Boston's Sunshine Academy. Here is a copy of Maebe Funke's report card from Sunshine Academy, so the parents in Lincoln know what to expect next year:
Homework, some quizzes or worksheets will be part of the learning process, not part of the final grade.
